Jon Pham is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer whose work is defined by bold visual language and a commitment to authentic, character-driven storytelling. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, he brings a refined, artful approach to both narrative and documentary filmmaking.
Pham was selected as a Cinematography Fellow for Film Independent’s highly competitive Project Involve program, where his work on All I Ever Wanted premiered at BFI Flare, Outfest, and over 36 international festivals. In 2022, he was named a mentee in the American Society of Cinematographers' Vision Mentorship Program under the guidance of Fernando Arguelles, ASC, AEC (Prison Break, Hemlock Grove).
Currently, Pham is in production for Germ, a feature-length documentary that marks his directorial debut.
His work has been recognized by Film Independent, the ASC Vision Committee, and festival juries worldwide.
